I decided to walk out back tonight and take pictures of both the garden and the big empty lot that we just bought to keep out the neighborhood basketball court.

This is the gorgeous Lantana planted all the way around the raised bed by the pool.... the color is astonishing

My sweet little mignonette plant peeking out of asparagus fronds.

Tomatilloes.

Rose globe eggplant.... so pretty.

The little adorable cluster eggplants I was telling you about....

awwww.... zinnias....

Three kinds of basil.... my favorite is the tiny leaved one on the left... it is thai basil...

A few baby cuc's and tomatoes that the weiner bugs overlooked in their foraging....

more zinnias....

4 o'clocks.... even though I took these pictures at 6 o'clock, they are still very pretty.

oranges ripening against the wall... the size of a baseball right now.

Empty lot toward the right

Straight back.... the new wall will be right at the edge of the gravel if you can see it.

Standing in the lot looking at our temporary construction gate. That will be torn out and the wall to the right of it lowered to about three feet high.

Toward the other neighbor who owned this lot....

Some of the bushes and flowers in the raised bed around the pool

take me home, please
